Commercial rafting began in this
section in 1967 with more than 350,000 passengers experiencing its beauty
and wildlife. Wyoming River Trips exclusively operates in this section. A
short 5 minute drive from our office finds you at our private launch site,
which is down river from the historic DeMaris Hot Springs.
This trip is the perfect family whitewater adventure as
you retrace the tracks of John Colter, Jeremiah Johnson, and Buffalo Bill.
Trip highlights include the timeless beauty of the red rock canyon, frequent
rapids and narrated history of early Cody pioneers and the Plains Indian
culture. Approximate round-trip time
